Edzell Woods Excess Water Study
Managed by:
Edzell Woods Owners Group
Project Description
The project is a feasibility study to identify the source of excess fresh water which is entering the private estate's infrastructure, causing a risk of flooding at times of high rainfall. The study will be undertaken by a hydrologist who will make recommendations and outline options of possible solutions to prevent water from entering the system.

We are extremely grateful to receive funding from LEADER and Aberdeenshire Council’s Top Up grant towards a feasibility study which will help the community develop a system to manage its infrastructure more effectively. Edzell Woods is a good place to live with wonderful safe open spaces and a number of people who voluntarily give time and effort to help maintain the estate and run social events throughout the year which make us a true community.
