Sandhaven & Pitullie Community Hall Feasibility Study
Managed by:
North East Scotland Preservation Trust
Project Description
North East Scotland Preservation Trust in partnership with the Sandhaven & Pitullie Hall Committee will commission a feasibility study on the future of Sandhaven and Pitullie Community Hall. The study will look at different possibilities for the renovation of the hall as well as future uses and innovative solutions.
The hall is in a poor state of repair and in need of a complete renovation in order to make it suitable for a range of modern user groups. It is anticipated that the group can raise funding from a number of sources in the future to action the recommendations of the study.
Quote from Participating Organisation
Irene Smith, Sandhaven and Pitullie Community Hall Committee
We are very grateful for the award of a grant from Aberdeenshire LEADER to carry out a feasibility study into the repair and upgrading of the Community Hall. The feasibility study means that Sandhaven and Pitullie could have a Community Centre, for the community and used by the community. There is a great need for this in Sandhaven and Pitullie and I would urge people to tell us what they want.
