The Revitalisation & Enhancement of Oldmeldrum Pleasure Park
Managed by:
Meldrum Play
Project Description
Phase 1 of the project is to install eight new items of static play equipment in the park to expand and improve facilities for under 12's. Phase 2 will be to ensure that the green space within the park area is fully utilised for community led activities, ensuring that the park becomes a community asset. As well as benefiting the local community, the improvements will attract visitors from surrounding areas which will benefit the local economy. It is proposed that a "Friends of the Park" group will be established to develop the green space and to identify and organise activities to bring the community together.
