Boddam Community Park Project

Managed by:

Boddam Development Trust

Project Description

The project is to provide much needed community recreational facilities in Boddam which has seen an increase in new residents since closure of the air base.  A community area of land will be redeveloped with the installation of a range of children’s play equipment and landscaping to make the area safe and more attractive for the increasing numbers of new families.  The area will be used to host community events and is anticipated to attract visitors to Boddam with the potential to increase economic benefit for local businesses.

Boddam Development Trust would like to thank LEADER immensely for awarding funding in order to complete a new children’s play area in Boddam due for completion in August 2010.  This will be a fantastic community area for the whole of Boddam.
