Project Description
To improve energy efficiency of the Rannes Hall through the installation of five new doors which include fire escapes and disabled access. The building is structurally sound and will celebrate its centenary in 2009. The management committee has been successful in local fundraising.
Quote from Participating Organisation
David Grant, Chairman, Rannes Hall Management Committee:
The Rannes Hall Management Committee are delighted to secure LEADER funding because it means that part one of an ambitious programme to make our Hall a warmer but more energy efficient community building can go ahead. Without the financial help from LEADER our project would have been delayed by several years. We are pleased that our Centenary year (2009) will mark the start of an upgrading programme that will make our Hall suitable for community use for many years to come."
