Strachan Village Hall Kitchen Enhancement
Managed by:
Strachan Village Hall Committee
Project Description
The project aims to enhance existing facilities at Strachan Village Hall by replacing the existing kitchen with a modern and fit for purpose kitchen which will benefit existing users and improve the marketability of the Hall. The Strachan community is expanding rapidly and the proposals have wide community support. The Hall Committee has already undertaken heating and window upgrades and a modern kitchen facility would increase use of the Hall through a range of user groups, private hires and community events.
Quote from Participating Organisation
Stirling Johnson-Marshall of Strachan Village Hall Committee
“The Hall did not have sufficient funds to start work on developing our hall kitchen facilities. LEADER funding has allowed us to move forward with the kitchen enhancement project and to develop and improve the hall for increased community use in the future.”
