PEP Interpretation Centre

Managed by:

Pitcaple Environmental Project Ltd

Project Description

The project is to build a log cabin Interpretation Centre which will showcase best practice in renewable energy technology.  The facility will be a demonstrator project and will be open to the public as a rural tourist attraction.  The centre will provide further training and employment opportunities for people with disabilities.  The new facility will increase the number of trainees and volunteers progressing through the centre and will ultimately help trainees who are willing and able to progress to paid employment.

Pitcaple Environmental Project is delighted to have been awarded assistance from Aberdeenshire LEADER.  This represents a significant proportion of the funds required for our new interpretation centre.  The centre will showcase renewable technologies while also providing enhanced training facilities for adults with disabilities.  This project is a major step forward for PEP setting it on a course for a sustainable future.
