Meldrum Hall - Access for All

Managed by:

Making Meldrum Better Community Interest Company (MMB CIC)

Project Description

The project is to increase community facilities in the Hall by creating a meeting room and toilet upstairs, installing a lift between floors and refurbishing the Hall and existing downstairs meeting room.  The Hall is currently owned by the Council but a lease to transfer the building to MMB CIC is being prepared with the Council retaining responsibility for structural maintenance of the building.  Improvements will allow total inclusion of all members of the community to all parts of the facility.  Increased usage of the facility will ensure that it becomes self-sustaining and will complement the existing community café that serves the expanding community in Oldmeldrum.
